Frits Feenstra has a background in Physics and has specific expertise in materials processing (plastics, ceramics) and Rapid Manufacturing by Three Dimensional Printing. At TNO he is currently active as a Senior Project Manager for large (inter)national projects such as CRAFT and several networks. He is and was also involved in setting up international networks in the area of Rapid Manufacturing.

His track record shows co-ordinatorship of RAPTIA thematic network (1999-2003, 32 partners), many Rapid Manufacturing by printing projects for medical, electronics and structural parts sectors. He has 5+ relevant RM patents and contributes to others quite a lot. He has 17 years of project management at TNO.
